What if I don’t have insurance, can I still be evaluated?
Yes, of course. Not all our patients have dental insurance. Self pay with flexible financing options are available.
Why do you need my insurance information?
We would like to be prepared as much as possible for your consultation so we can be accurate when it comes to insurance coverage for orthodontics. As a courtesy, we bill and collect your insurance benefits.
Are you billing my insurance for the consultation?
No, we only bill your insurance if you become a patient and receive treatment with us.
Will my insurance cover the consultation?
Since our consultations are complimentary, your insurance isn’t involved.
Do you charge additional fees for photos, X-rays, or additional records?
Records such as photos, x-rays, and digital scans are included in our treatment fee. These are included in your complimentary consultation so we can make the best treatment recommendation for you.
Do you take Care Credit?
Yes, we accept Care Credit.
Do you take MediCAL?
No, we are not accepting MediCAL at this time. Our MediCAL patients are self pay.
Do you take Medicare?
No, we do not take Medicare. Medicare does not offer orthodontic benefits.
Do you take Medicaid?
Yes, we accept Nevada Medicaid. Although Medicaid does not offer orthodontic benefits to adults, it does offer it to minors. The patient must be established at a general dentist who can provide a referral and can confirm certain attendance criteria and medical necessity must also be established by Dr. D’Ascoli. The evaluation is offered for free during the complimentary consultation. If you do not have dental insurance, don’t let this deter you! We offer low-cost, interest-fee flexible financing plans that we’d be happy to review with you! Adult patients who have Medicaid do not need referrals from their dentist and are on self-pay.
